Gleniffer Lake Resort & Country Club is looking for experienced, high energy, motivated restaurant professionals who are ready to join the team for the 2023 season. Full-time and Part-time positions are available, with start dates from March through to May.
RESPONSIBILITES:
· Greet guests in a timely fashion
· Advise guests on the menu and appropriate combinations of food and drinks
· Take customers’ orders and punch them into POS
· Serve food and beverages
· Process bills and present them to customers
· Clear tables and return dishes and cutlery to kitchen
· Anticipate and respond appropriately to guests’ needs and ensure guest satisfaction
· Perform both opening and closing duties that are set by management, including cleaning duties
· Responsible beverage service
· Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of work areas, guest eating areas, storage areas, and equipment
· Maintaining appropriate stock levels and adhering to proper rotation standards
· Exceeding guest expectations
· Delivering on all food and beverage standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Previous Food and Beverage experience is required
· ProServe Certification required
· Knowledge of beverages is required
· Experience in a bar or restaurant setting is required
· Previous bartending experience or bartending course is a definite asset
· Team oriented and the ability to work independently
· Must be able to work split shifts and shift work
· Must have proven initiative and continually strive to make things better
· Must be dedicated to exceptional guest service
· High energy level and an ability to work well in a team environment
