: Phase 2/5 intersection and all Phase 5 Roads
Those of you at the Resort will have seen the large equipment working in Phase 5 today.
Please be mindful of the work crews. Your patience is appreciated as you may need to wait a few minutes for access on certain parts of the road.
Road Closure: the roads in Phase 5 including the intersection of Phase 2 and 5 will be CLOSED on Saturday, October 9th. If you require access to your vehicle during the road closure you must move your vehicle to short term parking at the Pro Shop, the Garbage/Recycle Area, the General Store, or the Community Centre (i.e. the building which housed The Landing restaurant, Indoor Pool / Hot Tub, Fitness and Games Room, etc.) parking lots BEFORE 7:00 AM on Saturday.
If your property is in Phase 5 and there are areas of road repair between your unit and the West Pool you should make arrangements to move your Golf Cart to the parking at the West Pool BEFORE 7:00 AM on Saturday. Residents in Phases 5 and 6 will be able to use their golf carts from Phase 6 or from the West Pool parking area for Phase 5 residents by carefully driving on the pedestrian walkway on the outer perimeter of Phase 6 and along the edge of Hole #2 and #1 on the Golf Course. Please exercise caution in these areas!
The roads in Phase 5 will have a base layer of pavement completed on Saturday and will re-open on Sunday morning, October 10th.
Crews will return on Tuesday, October 12th to complete the paving at the intersection of Phase 2 and 5 plus all roads in Phase 5. These roads are scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, October 13th.
Further updated will be posted as they become available. Please bear in mind that plans may be impacted by things beyond our control (weather conditions, unexpected equipment failures, etc.)
